AWARD-WINNING CULINARY INNOVATOR
Named as one of Time’s “100 Most Influential People” and “Outstanding Chef” by the James Beard Foundation, José Andrés is an internationally-recognized culinary innovator, author, educator, television personality, humanitarian and chef/owner of ThinkFoodGroup. A pioneer of Spanish tapas in the United States, he is known for his avant-garde cuisine and his award-winning group of 27 restaurants throughout the country and beyond. His innovative minibar by José Andrés earned two Michelin stars in 2016. Andrés’ work has earned numerous awards including the 2015 National Humanities Medal, one of 12 distinguished recipients of the award from the National Endowment for the Humanities.
In 1910, a woman named Ines Rosales began making Olive Oil Tortas (tortas de aceite) by hand and selling them at the train station in Seville, Spain. Soon, she could not keep up with the demand and she decided to employ women from the local village she came from to assist her in producing these delicate and crisp treats. She used local ingredients, including extra virgin olive oil and unbleached wheat flour. In a short period of time, this Andalusian specialty became known and enjoyed throughout Spain.
Today, the tradition continues. Ines Rosales Tortas are still made by hand with the same recipe Ines Rosales created over one hundred years ago. Women from the local village are still employed to hand-shape the tortas that are made in small batches.
There are now five delicious varieties to satisfy any craving. Sweet flavors include Original, Seville Orange, and, Cinnamon. Savory flavors include Rosemary & Thyme and Sesame & Sea Salt, perfect for dipping or topping with cheese.
Seville Orange Tortas
All-natural sweet treats, the Seville Orange Sweet Olive Oil Tortas are made with crystallized Seville oranges and sprinkled with sugar. They make the perfect dessert complement and will satisfy any sweet tooth!
Ingredients: Unbleached wheat flour, extra virgin olive oil, sugar, crystallized orange from Seville, yeast, sesame seeds, sea salt, natural orange essence.

Radio América es una exitosa emisora “De hispanos para hispanos”.
Su propietario es el comunicador dominicano Alejandro Carrasco. Considerado por The Washington Post como “La voz de la radio hispana”
Es la estación radial hispana más antigua en el área metropolitana y la de mayor credibilidad. Una credibilidad ganada por su filosofía de trabajo que se resume de la siguiente manera “No anunciamos nada que no estemos dispuestos a consumir”
